President Abdel Fattah Al Sisi met Monday his assistant for national and strategic projects, Ibrahim Mahlab and a number of ministers to discuss developing Giza pyramids area, Al Bawaba News reported. Minister of housing, Mostafa Madbouly, minister of tourism, Mohamed Abbas and minister of antiquities, Mamdouh El Damaty have all attended the meeting. Spokesman for presidency, Ambassador Alaa Youssef said that the meeting discussed the plans to develop the Giza pyramids area, including the archaeological area. Youssef pointed out that the meeting dealt with ways of upgrading and improving the services offered to visitors at the Giza pyramids area. The ministers revealed their plans to upgrade the tourist facilities at Giza pyramids area and develop the archaeological sites and attractions there, Youssef added.
