Chinese vice Minister of Foreign Affairs Zhang Ming extended an invitation by President Xi Jinping to his Egyptian counterpart Abdel Fattah al-Sisi to visit China, to attend the 11th Summit of the G20 to be held in Hangu in September, Al-Masry Al-Youm reported Wednesday. During his visit to Egypt to prepare for Xi's visit to Egypt later this month, Zhang made it clear that the visit by the Chinese president to Egypt will coincide with the 60th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations between the two countries. As a host of the event, China is allowed to invite two guests of honor, Cairo is pleased with the invitation, Zhang told MENA in pre-departure statements.
