President Abdel Fattah Al Sisi confirmed Monday, during his meeting with chairman of National Council for Human Rights, Mohamad Fayek, on country's commitment to upholding justice, accountability and human rights values. Al Sisi praised the important role played by the council and its members in defending individual freedoms and consolidating human rights culture in Egypt, Youm7 News reported. On the other hand, Fayek sent his congratulations to Al Sisi, on the successful completion of the parliamentary elections, which is last step in the country's roadmap that was put forward by the Egyptian people during June 2013 revolution. He commended the electoral process, describing it with impartiality and integrity.
