Prime Minister, Sherif Ismail arrived Friday to capital of South Africa, Johannesburg, accompanied by minister of foreign affairs, Sameh Shoukry, in a two-day visit, to attend Forum on China-Africa Cooperation. Egypt's ambassador to South Africa, Sherif Nabil accompanied by a delegation from the embassy, welcomed Ismail at the airport, Al Bawaba News reported. The Forum on China-Africa Cooperation is the main framework for cooperation and dialogue between China and the African continent. China took the initiative to establish the forum, whose first session was held in Beijing in 2000. Egypt took over the joint presidency with the Chinese side between 2006 and 2012.
