Egyptian Culture Minister, Helmi Al-Namnam inaugurated Wednesday Akhbar-Alyoum Conference to support tourism in Sharm Al-Sheikh, Al-Bawaba News reported. The conference discussed obstacles facing tourism industry in Egypt and general strategies to resolve them in addition to several solutions presented by tourism experts. Al-Namnam signaled to the importance of tourism industry as an important source for national revenue and its contribution in reducing unemployed rates. "Tourism depends on the cultural product under the auspice of the Culture Ministry," Namnam stated, pointing to his ministry's commitment in promoting for tourism.
