Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani, Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council for Arab States, has strongly condemned the two terrorist bombings, which occurred last Thursday in the suburb of Burj el-Barajneh in the Lebanese capital, Beirut, and resulted in a large number of deaths and injuries of innocent civilians. The GCC Secretary-General described the blasts as a heinous crime, incompatible with the values of all religious, moral and humanitarian principles, and expressed his condolences to the families of the victims as well as to the government and the brotherly people of Lebanon, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
