Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry, asked the consular sector of the ministry, to communicate with the Egyptian consulate in Jeddah in order to check on the Egyptians whose passenger bus flipped on their way to the Saudi port of Duba returning to Cairo, Al-Bawaba News reported. Assistant Foreign Minister Hisham al-Naqib made a follow-up development of the incident with the General Consul in Jeddah, Adel al-Alfi, who immediately sent the Egyptian Consul and a representative from the consulate to visit the injured and to check on their health. Al-Naqib said on Monday evening, that the Egyptian General Consul told him that there were 40 Egyptian seasonal agricultural employee on their way back to Cairo via the port of Duba, where their bus skidded, causing light injury of 34 Egyptians, 4 were injured, bruised and fractured while two citizens were wounded in the arm.
