Cairo Criminal Court resumed Sunday the trial of 494 defendants of the Muslim Brotherhood (MB), in the case publically known as "Al-Fateh Mosque incidents," Al-Bawaba news reported. The defendants are accused of committing violence crimes against civilians and security forces. In August 2013, MB members occupied Al-Fateh Mosque at Ramsis district in Cairo following the dispersal of Raba;a and Nahda sit-ins, resulting in the death of 44 persons and injury of 59 others, including 33 police officers and soldiers.
