Syria in Last 24 Hours: Army Kills Tens of Terrorists in Aleppo Countryside

The Syrian army pounded the positions of the Takfiri terrorists in the countryside of Aleppo, killing tens of militants and injuring dozens more over the past 24 hours.
At least 50 ISIS terrorists were killed in the army's counter-attacks in different parts of Aleppo countryside.
The vehicles and military equipment of the ISIS terrorists were also destroyed during the Syrian troops' raids on the militants' hideouts in Aleppo.
Also in the past 24 hours, a cease-fire agreement covering the Syrian border town of Zabadani and two villages in the Northern province of Idlib between Hezbollah and the Syrian army on one side and terrorist groups on the other, was extended until reaching an agreement.
Al-Manar TV channel said on Tuesday that the truce would continue until a final agreement was reached on the status of militants and civilians in Kefraya and Foua towns.
It is the third cease-fire to cover these areas in around a month.
The cease-fire, which went into effect at mid-Sunday covers also the villages of Madaya and Baqin, which are adjacent to Zabadani.
Meantime, the Syrian army troops targeted concentration centers of the Takfiri militants in the Southern province of Quneitra on Tuesday, killing a large group of them.
The army, backed by the popular defense groups, destroyed a number of terrorists' vehicles in military operations on Monday night and Tuesday morning in the countryside of Quneitra.
Two armored vehicles belonging to terrorists of al-Nusra Front were destroyed and a number of the Takfiri militants were killed in the villages of al-Hamidyia, Abu Shabta and Jibat al-Khashab.
The army, backed by the popular defense groups, destroyed four of the terrorists' machinegun-equipped vehicles, and killed all terrorists onboard on the road linking al-Hurriya and al-Hamidyia in the Northwestern countryside of Quneitra.
The Syrian forces also destroyed armored vehicles belonging to al-Nusra terrorists in a military operation against one of their positions in al-Hamidyia, 7 km to the North of Quneitra City.
Elsewhere, the Syrian government forces targeted positions of the foreign-backed Takfiri militants in the coastal province of Lattakia, leaving 20 terrorists, including 15 Chechens, dead.
The army targeted militants' positions in al-Rawda village in the Northern countryside of Lattakia, killing 20 terrorists, including 15 Chechens.
Meantime, Syrian airstrikes targeted positions of the ISIS Takfiri militants in the Central province of Homs, killing 38 terrorists.
Syrian warplanes bombed ISIS positions in the ancient city of Palmyra, located 215 kilometers (133 miles) Northeast of the capital, Damascus, and two other towns late on Monday, according to the so-called Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.
Palmyra, is on the list of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO)'s World Heritage Sites.
