Head of Accountability State Authority (ASA), Hisham Geneina did not send the authority's draft law to the presidency for approval, rather he sent only the ASA's implementing regulations, Al-Bawaba Newspaper reported. A source from a supervisory entity revealed that Geneina finished amending six items concerning wages and financial incentives to fit with the implementing regulations of the new Civil Service Law. Geneina has formed a committee from ASA to review the draft law before submitting it to the coming parliament, because he refused to submit it to the legislative committee of the Ministry of Justice. Geneina's delay in submitting the draft law is due to his fear of being dismissed by President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi according to the 2014 Constitution, which grants the president the right to remove the head of ASA, unlike the previous constitutions.
