The Cairo Criminal Court postponed Saturday the retrial of steel tycoon Ahmed Ezz, alongside former Head of Industrial Development Authority, Amr Asal, to December 5, over corruption charges, Al Bawaba news reported. Ezz, the former secretary of organizing of the dissolved National Democratic Party (NDP), and Asal were sentenced to 10 years in prison over squandering EGP660 thousand of the public money, in the case publicly known as "Steel Licenses." Court of Cassation had overturned the sentence and ordered Ezz and Asal a retrial.
