Muslim Brotherhood (MB) terrorist group supporters protested Friday without prior authorization from the Egyptian authorities in Cairo's Maadi district to demand the release of their imprisoned leaders, Al Bawaba News reported. During the protest, MB supporters chanted slogans against the armed forces and the police as well as raising ousted President Mohamed Morsi pictures and Rabaa banners. Security forces tightened their grip on the district's main streets to prevent any violent act and to break up the demonstrations. Unlicensed protesting is criminalized in Egypt according to a protest law issued by interim authorities following the ouster of MB rule, July 2013.
