Chancellor Imam Abdul Sattar, president of Menoufia Judges Club, sent on today, a note to Judge Ahmed El-Zend, Minister of Justice, and the Supreme Judicial Council, with provisions and suggestions to secure judges, courts and Judges clubs. Abdul Sattar said in a press statement that there is understanding and response from the Judges Minister on the proposals for securing judges, and refused to disclose details of judges' insurance plan so as not to be known for anyone to target the judges. Chancellor requested the Ministry of Interior to secure Menoufia Judges Club, and has responded to security forces and demanded Menoufia judges to insure their way, asking judges to be careful in their movements to be semi-secret. The head of Menoufia Judges Club stated that judges are demanding establishment of a judicial police to secure courts, judges, and the clubs. He suggested quick security measures to be taken in courts now, like using electronic gates at entrances, search courtrooms and chambers before entering and inspect cars by sniffer dogs, trained to detect explosives or strange objects.
