Egyptian authorities decided to open Rafah border crossing on Tuesday in both directions for three days to allow the travel of humanitarian cases and Palestinian people who want to return home, Al Bawaba News reported Sunday. The Palestinian Embassy in Cairo announced in a statement that this decision came after the Palestinian President, Mahmoud Abbas demanded the opening of the crossing in order to make it easier for the Palestinian people in Gaza Strip. The Embassy expressed its sincere gratitude to the Egyptian leadership and authorities for their support to the Palestinian people in Gaza Strip.
