Egypt's President, Abdel Fattah Al Sisi decided Tuesday to open Rafah border crossing in both directions for more two days to allow the travel of humanitarian cases and Palestinian people who want to return home, Al Bawaba News reported. On Monday, Sisi decided to extend Rafah crossing opening for today and tomorrow after the Egyptian authorities have agreed to open the crossing last Saturday. The Palestinian Embassy in Cairo announced in a statement that this decision came after the Palestinian President, Mahmoud Abbas demanded the opening of the crossing in order to make it easier for the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip. The embassy expressed its sincere gratitude to the Egyptian leadership and authorities for their support to the Palestinian people.
