Egypt's President Abdel Fattah Al Sisi met Monday with a French parliamentary delegation in Cairo, Youm7 News reported. The meeting was attended by Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry and France's Ambassador to Cairo Andre Baran. The French delegation praised the relationship between Egypt and France and their huge cooperation in various fields. They expressed their appreciation to Egypt's leading role in Middle East and Africa. Spokesperson of Egypt's Presidency Alaa Yousef said that the delegation discussed with the President several international and regional issues, including the latest developments in the Libyan crisis. The delegation expressed France's support for Egypt's efforts to restore Libya's stability and security, and to combat terrorism. They stressed the need for stopping the weapons supply to the terrorist groups in Libya. Sisi stressed, during the meeting, on the importance of supporting Libya's legitimate institutions, including the government, the national army and the elected parliament.
