An Egyptian court adjourned Wednesday to June 14 the trial of MB Supreme Guide Mohamed Badie and another 104 defendants in the case known in the Egyptian press as "Ismailia Events", judicial sources told Al-Bawaba News. The defendants face charges of assaulting the Ismailia Province Headquarters July 2013 and murdering police personnel in coincidence with the dipersal of Rabia and El-Nahda sit-ins, the sources added. On May 17, more than 123 MB elements including Badie and ousted president Mohamed Morsi were sentenced to death over crimes of espionage and prison break.
