President Abdel Fattah Al Sisi announced Monday that the Parliamentary elections will be held after the Holy month of Ramadan, Al Bawaba News reported. The Egyptian President expressed his keenness to conduct the parliamentary elections as soon as possible. He stressed the difficulty of conducting such event during Ramadan due to the fasting and its coincidence with the High School exams scheduled to be in June. Sisi's remarks came during his speech on Monday to mark the Labor Day. The President praised the Egyptian judiciary, describing it as fair and lofty. He experessed his refusal to any interference in the judicial affaies. He highlighted that the Egyptian people saved the country on June 30, stressing that he didn't ask anyone to protest in squares. He added that their patriotic feelings pushed them to fill the squares to protest against the Muslim Brotherhood (MB)'s rule. Furthermore, Sisi explained that the government has taken decisive actions to counter terrorism, saying that the Egyptian people should perform their role to support the police and the army.
