Four citizens were injured in a bombing targeting Cairo's Matareya Police Station late Sunday, reported Al Bawaba News. An improvised explosion Device (IED) exploded Sunday in front of Matareya police station in Cairo, wounding two security forces and two civilians. Bomb disposal officers were deployed to the blast scene to scan the area for other potential threats. Dr. Khaled Al Weshahy, Ministry of Health's Emergency Chief, told Al Bawaba News that the two officers were transferred to the Police Hospital in Nasr city, while the two civilians were transferred to Matareya Hospital for treatment.
