Cairo-based militant group Ajnad Misr (Soldiers of Egypt) Monday released a new video on YouTube titled "Dismissal of the Ripper" referring to the former minister of interior Mohamed Ibrahim declaring new threats against Magdi Abdel Ghaffar, new Egypt's Minister of Interior. The two-minute video, produced by the group's Kenana media organization, features footage of the aftermath of a number of the group previously claimed attacks against security personnel in different areas in Cairo. In the video, the group threatened Maj. Gen. Magdi Abdel Ghaffar, new Egypt's Minister of Interior to continue their terror campaign targeting elements of Egypt's current regime. Ajnad Misr asserted that it is now preparing another video to be broadcasted soon titled "Snarling of IEDs", that will include more terrorist operations previously implemented by the group's militants. The video concluded with a message saying "Our fight has not ever been against certain personnel, but it continues against the whole regime." The purported jihadist group, which formally announced itself on Jan. 23, 2014, has claimed its responsibility for a series of deadly attacks in central Cairo that led to the deaths of several police officers, including the blasts near Cairo University, Egypt's foreign and interior ministries, the Ittihadiya presidential palace and in Lebanon Square in Giza's Mohandeseen district during the past year.
