Security forces diffused a bomb in Kafr El Sheikh after receiving reports about a suspicious package planted on the railway line. No casualties were reported. A package in Behira School caused widespread panic among students after another bomb exploded in a nearby natural gas power station, causing a power outage. Bomb squad officers rushed to diffuse the bomb at the school. A homemade bomb was also diffused earlier at Maymun village, Bani Suweif, after reports that a suspicious package had been found in front of the local government office. Security forces in Giza said that a package found near the Orman Gardens was harmless. It did not contain any explosive material.
