The Egyptian Exchange indexes closed last week up and the market capitalization gained 8.2 EGP billion to hit 504.2 EGP billion or 1.7 percent higher than the week before. During the course of the week, the benchmark index EGX 30 jumped 3.62 percent to 9,116 points, said a weekly report issued by the Egyptian Exchange. The broader EGX 70 index of the leading smaller and mid cap enterprises (SME) soared 2.94 percent, reaching 610 points. The all-embracing EGX 100 index was also up 3.03 percent to hit 1,110 points.
