Horoscopes:
Astounding August
By Imhotep
Time to get back into balance, my dear Scales, as people born under the Cardinal Air sign of Libra (23 Sep-23 Oct) are sometimes called. You have to get back into balance both physically and mentally. Libra stands for balance -- a balanced diet, a balanced lifestyle -- which can only help the entire mind and body and enrich it with your inner beauty. Stay hydrated, eat healthily and renew your commitment to your daily walk, gym or session with the punching bag.
You are likely to say maybe than either yes or no now. And, it is a fine response, too. There is absolutely no reason to be immediately available -- say you have to check your calendar. And, while you are at it, check your feelings, too.
Do not let your inner drama spill over into outer life. Paying close and careful attention to your emotional terrain means that you would not unexpectedly encounter it in the outside world. Be mindful and considerate. Your concentration on work matters may be minimal in the weeks ahead, but free-form, day dreaming escapades you have got going is perfect for the contemplation of matters of the heart.
Hint from Imhotep: Change is good, love-life-wise. This ride seems like a lot of fun at first, but after a while you have to ask yourself if it is going anywhere. Okay, you may not be able to see a lot of forward motion, but can't you enjoy a few little side trips?
Loving someone also means knowing when to let go. So part of you may want to keep the situation status quo, but deep down you know that is just not feasible or healthy for either of you in the long-run. Why rush it?
Birds of a feather, my dear Eagles, as people born under the Fixed Water sign of Scorpio (24 Oct-23 Nov) are sometimes called, fly together. Stick to your close friends. You feel like you have nowhere to run, or shall I say fly? But, what is scaring you enough to make you flee? Eagles are brave creatures. Stay that way, please. Do not escape reality.
Stay perched above it all and breathe. Take a deep breath and try what they call the sigh of relief. Your fears could actually be the most frightening aspect of the situation. Your emotions can leave you rocking and reeling. Where the hell did these feelings come from? Yes, this is discomforting at first, but you must admit that it is nice to know you can still surprise yourself. If you are uncertain about your feelings, feel free to be firm. Anyone who is pushing you one way or another most likely has his or her own agenda -- stick up for yours, even if you need more time to figure it out.
If you are less than inspired by the latest crop of online personals profiles, or less inspired when it comes to putting together a funny message or great date -- the Stars say just hold off for now.
The Stars say starting something fresh is favoured at the moment, my dear Archers, as people born under the Mutable Fire sign of Sagittarius (24 Nov-23 Dec) are sometimes called. Note that others are inclined to appreciate your abundant charms even more than usual now. Sounds like a great equation for the realm of romance. Grab it.
Golden prospects are waiting for you, but you have to show up to claim them. Accept all invitations, fill out application forms, answer every single phone call. And, go to every event you can.
Let your ideas be inspired, moulded and exalted before they take form in words and deeds. Why, ah why, does the time fly so? Where, oh where, does the time go? It is amazing how quickly time moves, especially when you are not paying attention. The Stars say it is time to savour every single moment as it comes your way.
If you have been longing for some change, get ready to embrace it in all its chaotic glory. It may be hard to get a good grasp, at least at first, but try to envelop it in a big bear hug.
Look out next week for Imhotep's reading of Capricorn, Aquarius and Pisces
