AS PART of a limited press reshuffle, Egypt's Shura Council on Tuesday appointed Mohamed Barakat, Al-Akhbar 's chief editor, as the newspaper's board chairman, replacing Mohamed Adli Fadli, who retired. Yasser Rizq, formerly the chief editor of the Radio and TV magazine, is now Al-Akhbar 's chief editor. The council replaced Osama El-Ghazali Harb, chief editor of Al-Siyasa Al-Dawliya, with Mohamed Abdel-Salam, who also holds the post of advisor to Al-Ahram 's board chairman. Hisham Murad was also selected as Al-Ahram Hebdo 's chief editor, a position he manned since Mohamed Salmawy retired last May.
