Sufra Dayma: Smoked Salmon Dip By Moushira Abdel-Malek Ingredients : 90gms smoked salmon slices 250 gms cream cheese 1 cup sour cream 1/4 cup mayonnaise 2 tsp lemon juice 2 tsp French mustard 1/2 tsp grated lemon rind 4 shallots (finely chopped in a blender) 2 tbsp parsley (fnely chopped) Salt + pepper Method : In an electric blender, beat cream cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise, mustard, smoked salmon, lemon juice, pepper and a tiny pinch of salt until smooth. Taste to adjust salt. Fold in lemon rind, chopped shallots and parsley. Mix well by a spoon or spatula. Refrigerate until needed. Serve with toasted pita bread or salted crackers. You can dip in with celery heads, sliced carrots, broccoli or cauliflower florets.
