(7pm) A seminar headed by Laurent Bavay, Head of the French Centre for Eastern Antiquities (IFAO), discussing the work of the IFAO in 2016. The seminar will be moderated by the Egyptian Minister of Antiquities, Dr. Khaled Al-Anani and French Ambassador to Egypt Andre Parant. The event will include an exhibition on the activities of the Centre of Alexandrian Studies, the rediscovery of the Persephone and the application of photographic surveys in antiquities. Videos will be played showing the work done in the tombs of Anfoushi, the Akademia location and the statues of Pharaohs of Alexandria.
