“Kids Hack Day”,Do you want to have fun with science? Do you like to build and create? Do you enjoy learning how to turn something every day into something extraordinary? If yes, then come to Cairo Hackerspace's Kids Hack Day and realize the potential young maker in you! Using our Makey Makey and Strawbees kits, we'll teach you basic electronics and mechanics - the skills you need to build anything from a robot to your own interactive dance floor. Inspired by the global hackerspace movement and the lack of technology-related play and creativity in the classroom, Kids Hack Day is a means of closing the gap between education and technological creativity. We aim to revolutionize how we immerse children in emerging technologies. Kids Hack Day is a 2-day event where children between 10-15 years old and adults come together to "hack" and make new uses of everyday items (10-11 July).
