It offers a number of items: an exhibition of Nubian handicrafts and accessories followed by a film screening on the Nubian lifestyle and traditions in Ramadan. The event will be concluded with a singing recital by Nubian singers Mohamed Youssef, Mohamed Abu-Dawoud and Amir Hegazi performing Nubian religious songs.

The Greek Campus 171 Tahrir St, Bab El Louk, Cairo Hayy Festival 2015 (26 June-11 July) Fri 26, 9.30pm: MinaProject introduces Terez Sliman from Palestine. The international music project Mina brings together Terez Sliman and Portuguese singer SofiaPortugal and musicians Rui Ferreira, Hélder Costa and André Oliveira, who had a common desire to search for the best of international music heritage, particularly the music of areas often overlooked, that contain the stories of the people and places they are from. Mina started off working with the folkloric songs of Palestine, Portugal, Tunisia, Syria, Spain, Egypt, Iraq and Morocco, and aim to continually expand this geographic scope. Sat 27, 9.30-11pm: Moroccan singer Nabyla Maan plays Andalusian music mixed with jazz and international music.Maan is now known for her style that presents classic Moroccan songs, merged with Malhoune, Andalusian, Tarab Gharnati, jazz and other world music. She has issued three albums since 2005, D'nya, Ter El Ali in 2009, and the latest in 2013, Aech Hyatek. She is currently working on her fourth album which will feature Moroccan and Arab-Andalusian music blended with jazz. This year, she received the award for best traditional song at the Morocco Music Awards.
