Tel 2576 8086 *First Floor gallery “A Rolling Stone gathers no Moss,” Alexandria-based artist Khaled Galal Eldeen's first solo exhibition in Cairo. Constructed over the past four years, this body of work uses found images as a basic alphabet that can be remixed in between digital and analogue planes of reality to create soft, hypnotic patterned surfaces. Paper collages, printed sheets of silk, GIFs and an animation offer different states of visual flatness — pure image surfaces reflecting the mixed reality of objects made after the internet (28 December-28 January).
