Arab Contractors continued their impressive start to their league season on Monday, claiming another 3-1 victory over Gouna. Contractors, who caused a major upset by handing Ahly a 2-1 shock defeat last week, were lifted by goals from Mohamed Salem, Mohamed Fadl and Mohamed Farouk. Salem broke the deadlock in as early as the second minute before Nigerian hitman Minusu Buba made it even four minutes from the interval. Contractors, however, replied with two quick-fire goals, with Fadl and Farouk – who scored in the victory over Ahly – netting on 71 and 73 minutes respectively. The Mountain Wolves now top Group A with 14 points, two clear of Ahly, who face Dakhleya on Monday in a game delayed from the second week of league play. Ittihad win, Maqassa draw Ittihad registered their second win of the season after edging out Ghazl El-Mahalla with a 2-1 comeback win away from home. Mahmoud Bazid gave the hosts the lead on 13 minutes, only to be pegged back by first-half goals from Ittihad's Ahmed Sherweda and Alaa Kamal (penalty). Elsewhere, newcomers Ragaa and Maqassa played out a goal-less stalemate. http://english.ahram.org.eg/News/93385.aspx
