Egyptian interim president has officially approved eight oil and gas exploration deals worth $2.1 billion, Al-Ahram Arabic reported on Friday. The Egyptian Natural Gas Holding Company (EGAS) made seven agreements with companies from the Emirates, Italy, England, Ireland and Canada, while the General Petroleum Company modified an existing agreement. Explorations will take place in the Mediterranean, the Nile Delta and the Gulf of Suez.
