UK minister launches business partnership scheme for MENA Deauville Partnership initiative targeting six Arab countries including Egypt launches in Tunisia
Britain's Parliamentary Under Secretary of State at the Foreign Office, AlistairBurt, on Tuesday launched theDeauville Partnership initiative in Tunisia. The initiative, named Forsa (opportunity), will establish business mentoring relationships across six Arab transition countries – Tunisia, Morocco, Libya, Egypt, Jordan and Yemen. Forsa will match entrepreneurs from the six countries with mentors from leading companies in G8 countries, Kuwait, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, the UAE and International Financial Institutions. The initiative was established at the G8 summit in Deauville in 2011.
