The Egyptian Ministry of Health has sent an air-ambulance to transport three people who were injured in a hot air balloon accident in Luxor on Tuesday morning to Cairo to receive treatment, according to Ahram Arabic news website. According to reports, 18 people have been confirmed dead from the crash, with three recovered alive. Minister of Health Mohamed Mostafa said on Tuesday that a professional medical team is accompanying the patients to Cairo. The hot air balloon crashed near Luxor, Upper Egypt, at dawn on Tuesday after a mid-air gas explosion at 1,000 feet (300 metres).
