Mazembe aim to go 'as far as possible' in Champions League
The DRC team's coach is confident ahead of Sunday's clash against Zamalek for the African Champions League

TP Mazembe coach Lamine Ndiaye said on Tuesday that his side is ready to get a good result when they meet Zamalek on Sunday in a Champions League Group B game in Cairo.
"We are in a very tough group and each point is very important. This group includes the three most prolific Champions League winners," coach Ndiaye told Mazembe's official website.
The DRC champions, who defeated Zamalek 2-0 in Lubumbashi in their previous game, are second in the group with four points, level with Ghana's Berekum Chelsea and five points behind leaders Ahly.
They will be looking to maintain their second-place position at the expense of Zamalek, who lie at the bottom with no points after losing three consecutive games.
"Sunday's game will be very tough for us, especially as it will be the last chance for the hosts to keep their hopes alive in the competition."
Ndiaye also said he is focusing solely on his team after Zamalek appointed Brazilian Jorvan Vieira as their new coach.
Vieira will make his debut against Mazembe after replacing Hassan Shehata at the helm of the ailing Cairo giants.
"I know that he is a Brazilian coach, but he is yet to play any game with Zamalek. Anyway it is not my business, I am focusing on my team only and our target, which is to go as far as possible in the competition," he concluded.
