Ahly in-form striker Mohamed Sherif is confirmed to be out of action for 10 days after suffering a strain in his muscle, according to a statement released by the club. The 25-year-old attacker sustained the injury during Ahly's 1-1 draw with Ismaily in the 29th matchday of the Egyptian Premier League on Wednesday, causing him to leave the field due to the injury. With five matches remaining in the Egyptian Premier League season, Ahly are second in the table with 65 points, two points behind leaders Zamalek who have 67 points. Sherif will miss Ahly's coming two games in the league against Enppi and Talae El-Geish respectively. The Egyptian striker is competing to snatch the Premier League top scorers title after scoring 19 goals so far this season, four goals over Ceramica Cleopatra forward Ahmed Yasser Rayan.
