Ivorian midfielder dismisses speculation about his future with Newcastle, plans to focus attention on upcoming matches

Newcastle's Ivorian midfielder Cheick Tiote said on Wednesday that he planned to focus with the Magpies, declining to discuss his future with the Premier League side.
After an excellent performance with Newcastle this season, the international midfielder has been linked to several leading Premier League clubs, with some reports suggesting a deal might be reached with Newcastle this summer.
Tiote, however, dismisses the gossip.
"I can achieve what I want to here. I don't know about any speculation," he was quoted as saying by Sky Sports.
"I have four games to play and I think I should focus on them, since they're important games for the club. After the season, we will see," he added.
The 26-year-old midfielder went on to praise the excellent form of Senegalese teammate Papiss Demba Cisse, who has made an excellent start with the Newcastle.
Cisse, who joined the team in January, produced a string of strong performances with the Magpies, scoring 11 goals in ten matches.
"For him it is natural to score goals. It feels normal. As a striker, it's important to score those goals. If you don't, you start to worry – but he scores every game," Tiote concluded.
