'We respect the Tunisian team but our target is to beat them,' says Pharaohs coach Aguirre

Egypt coach Javier Aguirre said on Thursday that the Pharaohs' will be looking for the win when they take on Tunisia at Alexandria's Borg Al-Arab Stadium in the 2019 Nations Cup qualifiers on Friday.
Both sides have guaranteed their place in next year's African Cup of Nations as Tunisia are leading Group J with 12 points, three points ahead Egypt.
"Tunisia's clash is very important for us as we need to clinch the three points of the game," Aguirre told the pre-match news conference on Thursday.
"The win will lift the pharaohs to the group summit. It is our target,” he said. "We respect the Tunisian team but our target is to beat them."
The Mexican coach refused to answer a question concerning the retirement of Ahly's Walid Soliman from the international level, saying the player will not be part of the Pharaohs squad.
The in-form winger Walid Soliman announced on Wednesday his retirement from international football after being snubbed by the Pharaohs technical staff for Friday's clash.
Egypt coach Javier Aguirre opted against including Soliman in the team's squad since his nomination as Pharaohs coach last August.
He played an instrumental role in leading Ahly to a place in the final, scoring six goals in 13 appearances, just two short of the competition's top scorers, and providing four assists.
When asked about his choices and when he will introduce new players, Aguirre said he cannot introduce 20 new players immediately as such a reshuffle should take more time .
