In-form Marseille young former Jordan Ayew and Ghana's league top scorer Emmanuel Baffour have been included in the Black Stars' 25-man provisional squad for the African Cup of Nations 2012 on Thursday. The two young strikers, who earned their first international call up, replaced out of favor Dominic Adiyiah and Ransford Osei. Michael Essien is missing from the list because of injury as he won't be ready for action until next February while keepers Richard Kingson and Philemon McCarthy make way for Adam Kwarasey and Ernest Sowah because of their lack of regular football. "The players I have called are the best who can fit into my tactical plans. They are capable of winning the cup for Ghana and I have enough faith in them," Stevanovic told the Ghana FA official website on Thursday. "I am happy with everyone I have picked and I know we can do a good job if we all work in the same direction," he added. The team will hold a training camp in South Africa from 7 to 19 January where they will play south African side Kaiser Chiefs and the Bafana Bafana. The squad will be cut to 23 ahead of the beginning of their campaign. Ghana's 25-man list: Goalkeepers: Adam Kwarasey, Daniel Adjei, Ernest Sowah.
