Ahly's squad for Ittihad boosted by return of Eno, Da Silva and Soliman Egyptian league champions Ahly are heading to Alexandria Thursday night to face Ittihad and make up lost ground in the league
Ahly technical staff, under the guidance of Portuguese coach Manuel Jose, have named the 19-man squad who will travel tonight to Alexandria for Friday's Ittihad clash in day 4 of the Egyptian Premier League. The title holders' defensive midfielder Moataz Bellah “Eno” is included in the squad after a long absence from the first team. Talented 26-year-old playmaker Walid Soliman, who joined Ahly from ENPPI in the close season, is also back in contention after a groin injury sustained during the 2-2 draw with Petrojet last week. The 21-year-old Mauritania striker Dominique Da Silva is back too after recovering from a knock picked up during the 1-0 victory over Haras El-Hodoud in the league opener. Jose is seeking to solve the tactical mistakes and lack of harmony within the team that has seen the Red Devils drop four points in the league and lie in fifth place with five points, one behind leaders Ittihad Al-Shorta.
