Egyptian actor Sayed Zayan died on Wednesday morning at the age of 73 following a battle with a long illness. The death was announced by Sameh El-Seriety, an actor and member of the Actors Syndicate, and reported by MENA news agency. Born in 1940, Zayan was best known for his roles in El-Motasawel ("The Beggar", 1983) where he acted alongside Adel Imam, Tabonat Hamza (1984) and Madrasat El-Moshaghebeen ("The School of Mischief", 1973).
