Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov has confirmed that London has passed on to Moscow “certain information” regarding the A321 passenger jet that crashed over Egypt's Sinai Peninsula on October 31. “It can be confirmed that certain intel was handed overby the British side. I can't tell you what kind because I don't have access tothat type ofinformation. Naturally we are counting onmutual cooperation withall ofthe countries that can help inthe investigation ofthis horrible tragedy,” Peskov told journalists. Earlier inthe day, a spokesman fromthe British Foreign Office told Sputnik it had given Moscow its conclusion based onintelligence that the A321 passenger jet that crashed, killing all 224 onboard, was most likely a terrorist act. “As a matter ofroutine, we do not comment onintelligence matters. However, we have taken decisions based onthe information available tous. As the [Prime Minister] and [Foreign Secretary] have said, there is a high probability the Russian airliner was brought downby an explosive device,” the Foreign Office spokesman said. http://english.ahram.org.eg/News/164101.aspx
