Egypt's Consumer Protection Authority (CPA) suspended on Tuesday a television advertisement over its abusive content, reported state news agency MENA. The television advertisement for Fox potato chips featured a father slapping his son, which comes in violation of specification standards number 484 for the year 2005, Atef Yaqoub, head of the authority, told MENA. The decision followed a memorandum from the ministry of social solidarity and several other complaints from the public, Yaqoub said. The advertising company has already been alerted to the decision, he added. The CPA follows the ministry of industry. http://english.ahram.org.eg/News/133479.aspx
