Egypt PM flies to Amman for cooperation committee talks During the visit, the Egyptian premier will take part in the 25th session of the Egyptian-Jordanian higher committee
Egypt's Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab arrived in Jordan early Wednesday for a two-day visit where he will discuss mutual ties and means to combat Islamist militancy with Jordanian officials, state news agency MENA reported. During the visit, the Egyptian premier will take part in the 25thsession of theEgyptian-Jordanianhighercommittee in Amman along with his Jordanian counterpart Abdullah Ensour. The committee meetings will see both officialslook at boosting cooperation between the two countries as well as regional efforts to fight terrorism in the region. The two countries are expected to sign ten cooperation accords on water, electricity, investment and transport, MENA added A high level delegation including ministers of electricity, transport, trade and international cooperation are accompanying Mahlab.
