Egypt's President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi on Tuesday sent representatives to pay condolences to the families of judges killed in Sinai on Saturday, state news agency MENA reported. Judges Mohamed Marawan Arafa, Magdi Rafiq Mabrouk and Abdel-Monem Osman and their driver were killed when gunmen opened fire on their vehicle in the North Sinai city of Al-Arish. Anti-government Islamist militants, who have primarily targeted security forces since the ouster of Islamist president Mohamed Morsi in July 2013, have also attacked several judges. Egypt's government has vowed to confront “terrorism” and has launched a crackdown on militants, particularly in North Sinai where they are most active. http://english.ahram.org.eg/News/130811.aspx
