Ahly forward Moemen Zakareya sustained a wrist injury during the 1-0 loss to Moroccan side Moghreb Tetouan in the first leg of the CAF Champions League on Sunday. He could be a major doubt for the Red Devils' coming league match against Damanhour. A late free-kick by Mouhcine Lajour gave Moghreb Tetouan a 1-0 first-leg advantage over Ahly on Sunday. Zakareya, 27, has shined with Ahly since he arrived in the winter transfer window from arch-rival Zamalek, scoring five goals so far, including two against Rwanda's APR in the CAF Champions League, two against Assiouty Sport and one against Ismaily in the league. "Zakareya fractured his wrist during the Moghreb Tetouan game," Ahly announced on their official website. "We made a temporary support for his wrist and in Cairo he will undergo medical scans to determine the seriousness of his injury," the statement concluded.
