Egypt's Pharmacists Syndicate under supervision again
The second time this year the syndicate has been accused of affiliation with the outlawed Muslim Brotherhood

Egypt's Pharmacists Syndicate on Monday was placed under judicial supervision following accusations that it is influenced by the banned Muslim Brotherhood.
Cairo's Court for Urgent Matters made the ruling after four syndicate members filed a lawsuit accusing the board of working for the Brotherhood.
Judicial supervision restricts the board's freedom and its ability to make independent decisions.
Plaintiffs said the board used the syndicate's funds for the Brotherhood's interests, which disrupted the syndicate's work and harmed the interests of its members.
The syndicate was placed under judicial supervision after a similar report in May. However, an appeals court cancelled the ruling on 31 August, saying it did not detect any financial violations.
The Brotherhood was banned in Egypt following last year's ouster of president Mohamed Morsi, who hails from the group.
In March, the board of the Teachers Syndicate was dissolved on the pretext that it was dominated by the Brotherhood.
