Twenty-three Egyptian activists, including Sanaa Seif, sister of prominent activist and blogger Alaa Abdel Fattah, have been sentenced to three years over charges of breaching a protest law. Other defendants in the case include photojournalist Abdel-Rahman Mohamed of Al-Badil news website, rights activist and lawyer Yara Sallam, and photographer Rania El-Sheikh.
