Egypt's national football coach, Shawky Gharib will announce on Thursday the lineup that will take on Botswana on 10 and 15 October in the 2015 African Cup of Nations qualifiers. "We will make our selection after the fourth matchday of the Egyptian Premier League to base our decision based on players latest performances," assistant coach Alaa Nabil told a television program on Monday. Gharib has already named six foreign-based players to his squad and will be watching Tuesday and Wednesday's games to complete his list. "We also agreed to call on fewer players as opposed to last time when we had 30 so that we can focus on building crucial ties. That's why we only picked six foreign-based players as we will only chose those who play regularly," he added. The Pharaohs are currently at the bottom of Group G with no points after conceding two straight defeats to Senegal 2-0 and Tunisia 1-0. The seven-time African champions are in a must-win situation to revive their chances of reaching the CAN 2015 after missing out on the two previous editions.
