South African Judge Thokozile Masipa resumed reading her verdict in the 6-month murder trial of paralympic and Olympic athlete Oscar Pistorius on Friday, a day after the track star was cleared of murder charges. Pistorius, the double amputee who became one of the biggest names in athletics, shot dead his model and law graduate girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp on Valentine's Day last year. The athlete was cleared of murder charges on Thursday but could still be found guilty of culpable homicide, the equivalent of Britain's manslaughter, which can result in up to 15 years in jail.
