An in-form Bakri Al-Madina proved to be a defensive nightmare for Zamalek as he scored a goal and set up the other in Al-Hilal's 2-1 victory over the Egyptians on Friday in the African Champions League. The 26-year old striker dribbled down the left side and gave a neat pass to Mohamed Bashir "Besha" inside the box to break the deadlock for the first goal of the match in the 34th minute. The energetic international was a constant threat for Zamalek's defense throughout the whole game and managed to create several clear-cut chances for his teammates and himself but a heroic performance by keeper Ahmed El-Shennawy kept the score line tight. At the hour mark Zamalek's flashy winger Mostafa Fathi caught the Sudanese defense napping as he ghosted past a couple of defenders to slot a goal past the keeper from close range. Turning from provider to scorer, Al-Madina tricked Zamalek's shaky defense once more to fire from the edge of the area into the bottom left corner of the goal to clinch a deserved winner. Al-Hilal are now third in the group with seven points while Zamalek are at bottom with just four points in six games. Both team saw their complaint against AS Vita for using an ineligible player overturned which means that TP Mazembe and AS Vita Club have secured the qualifying spots to move on from the group.
